About Us

Our Story

St Andrews Christian College was founded in 1983 in Surrey Hills, Victoria. Its purpose was to provide a distinctively Christian school that reflected Christ and helped students reach their potential in all curriculum areas.

The College moved to Burwood in 1998. Steady growth meant the College could offer secondary classes from 2000. 2005 ushered in the very first group of Year 12 St Andrews Student graduates. In 2010, the College moved to its present site in Wantirna South.

Today, St Andrews continues its vision: to provide exceptional education and a Christ-centred learning environment from Prep to Year 12. You can learn more about our fascinating history by watching the short video history below.

The Logo

The logo of St Andrews Christian College represents a cameo of what the school stands for:

  • The Christian Ethos
  • The need for a personal faith in Jesus Christ
  • That all our endeavours should bring Glory to God

The shield has the cross of St Andrew central, a white cross with a blue background. Andrew was a disciple of Jesus and is known for his personal faith in Christ and also for bringing others to Christ.

The cross is also the Scottish Flag and indicates the School’s origin with the Presbyterian Church which had its foundation in Scotland.

The badge is shield shape and represents the shield of faith, while the motto reminds us that all we do should bring Glory to God.
