Board News - June 2026

At the AGM tonight, current Board Director, Thomas Chong, was renominated to the Board for another three years. We thank Thomas for his work in the past and look forward to his involvement in the future.

Following the AGM, the Board met for our monthly meeting.

Our devotion tonight led us to Matthew 5:14-16, “let your light shine”. As we aim to prepare students of StACC to be a positive influence in the world, we know we need to look beyond the criteria other schools and commentators focus on. We want our students to be well skilled, and more importantly, we also want our students to be walking with God and serving him.

And if we want the students to be this, shouldn’t we all?

We had a discussion tonight on how effective The Hub is for communicating to the College Community. It is effective but it was reported some families are unaware of certain items. Please check the settings on the app to ensure you have opted in to receive notifications. It is our hope this might solve most of the concerns.

You will have received a letter for a Building Fund Donation. With building works planned for the near future, we thank you for considering this.

The following Policies were reviewed and adopted for another 2 years to June 2028:

• The Working with Children Check Policy
• The Parents and Volunteers Code of Conduct Working Together

The Parents Complaints Management Policy was approved.
