Board News - March 2026

Earlier this year in February, the Board had a joint Retreat Day with the ELT to discuss and review progress on the 2024-2027 strategic plan as well as to look again at our longer-term plan: Towards 2040

The Board met for its first regular meeting of 2026 on Thursday March 26th. The meeting was preceded with a “Chat and Dine’ session where board members were able to meet and get to know our newest staff members over a meal in the College staffroom. The board was encouraged to hear of their passion for Christian education and how these staff members were responding to a call by God to come and teach at St Andrews. We were reminded of the most valuable asset that all our staff are to the College.

Afterwards, in the meeting, the Board spent some time discussing what it looks like to be a positive Christian influence in this World which is an integral part of the College’s Mission. In addition, Principal Nick Haines updated the Board on the start of the College year, including a very successful and positive Open Day 2026. Many thanks to staff, students, parents and other volunteers who all worked so hard to present the College at its best.
